Gulfport Pirates Home Game: The second season has begun for the Gulfport Pirates Football and Cheerleading Youth Sports League. Lowry Park Zoo Has a New Star: Visitors to Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo are in for a treat courtesy of new arrival Mavi. The baby African elephant was born back in July, but her name was just selected courtesy of Bay area residents who voted in a contest and the little bundle of joy’s Mom, Matjeka.
