It's Wednesday, Sept. 25! Here's what you need to know today in Gulfport!

Promote Your Business: Have you heard? The Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce presents a Business Seminar Series on Oct. 23 and Nov. 6. Kelly Wright and Lillie Cintron will fill you in on how to promote your business. The two sessions are $15 for chamber members and $25 for non-members. Sign up on the Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce's website.

Quality of Life Workshop: Access Community Services is hosting a session today at the Gulfport Senior Center at 1:30 p.m. It's called "How important is your quality of life?"

Swing Time on Facebook: That's right! Get all the up-to-date information about Swing Time's local events, including the Wednesday night dance at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom, on their new Facebook Group Page.

Museum Hop for Free: Here’s one for your calendars. Saturday, Sept. 28 is Arts Alive/Free Museum Day in St. Petersburg. Between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. you can visit some of the city’s most notable museums, including the Dali and Holocaust museums, at no charge. Check out the event’s website for more details.

Wet Weather Continues: The National Weather Service says we have to wait a little longer for a break from the rain. There’s about a 70 percent chance for storms today, Sept. 25.
