The Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market is a year-round open-air market held in Gulfport's Waterfront District on Beach Blvd. below 29th Ave. South. Market hours are 9am to 3pm (9am to 2pm during summer) every Tuesday. Vendors offer a variety of produce, including but not limited to, local, organic and hydroponic fruits and vegetables. Vendors also offer local honey, teas, herbs, seafood, Florida grass-fed beef and other locally raised meats, eggs, cheeses, fresh breads, pastries, nuts and granola, gourmet, vegetarian/vegan and ethnic foods, candy, garden plants, fresh flowers, bath and body products, jewelry and much more. Many other unique items are available from over 50 vendors, each its own “Mom and Pop” business setting up in the open air every week. Local artists and crafters, many of them working while you watch, offer a wide variety of their wares. Community non-profits are offered a space at the Market each week. Live music is always featured. Our popular free clothing swap takes place on the second Tuesday of each month during the Market. The village in which the Market takes place includes a variety of independent shops, boutiques and restaurants, all within walking distance. Gulfport’s Fresh Market is a community-spirited gathering in a small, "Old Florida"-style town. We offer food for your body and community spirit for your soul. THE FRESH MARKET IS CANCELLED FOR TODAY AND THIS EVENING, Tuesday, November 6th. We have made the decision this morning based on the most recent forecasts. The weather conditions today seem likely to include periods of heavy rain, storms, and/or wind. The combination of all of these factors creates what could become a dangerous situation for tents and crowds. Though there may be some clearer periods without rain, th
ere could also be some weather that will be hazardous in an outdoor market situation. Since this is the first Tuesday of the month, please note that this cancellation applies to both our daytime and evening hours. (The next evening hours are scheduled for Tuesday, December 4th. The cooking demonstration by Chef James Clark scheduled for 6pm today will be rescheduled for 6pm on December 4th.)
These decisions are difficult and we regret having to cancel the Market on any occasion, especially based on weather predictions that may or may not prove true, but it is the best and only information we have to guide us.
We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you at the Fresh Market next week.

The weather conditions today seem likely to include heavy rain, thunderstorms, and wind. The combination of all of these factors creates what could become a dangerous situation for tents and crowds. Though there may be some clearer periods without rain, there could also be some weather that will be hazardous in an outdoor market situation.
