Living in Paradise Gulfport Florida

It's funny where you end up in life....For me that was Gulfport Florida...I have been in florida for three years going on four...I started out in St Pete but I discovered Gulfport by jumping on a bus after hours of endless unpacking...I just grew tired of all the unpacking to the point of insanity so i decided to take a break and explore...I got on the first bus in front of my house and ended up at the tyrone mall...Then i got on another and ended up in Gulfport...It was love at first sight I thought then ...Someday I will live here...My first visit to Gulfport happened to be a first friday artwalk...I spend everyday going to the beach and watching the sunrise and painting in my studio...My partner lived in Boca Raton Florida...So this last October we purchased a house that was supposed to  be a vacation house here in Gulfport...But we love it here so much were making our home here our main house...I am in the third saturday art walk in front of little adventures book store down town Gulfport...I have met and made so many wonderful friends here in Gulfport...We actually started a cruise for December seventh of this year and most that are going are friends we made in Gulfport...It's funny where you end up...I still can't believe i get to live and breath in this beautiful town and Community...I truly am blessed....:)

Welcome, Michael! Although I've already said that to you and Tom several times on our chance dog walk meetings ( your's in the stroller & mine on the bike ), like you I also find our residents wonderful people who are forever a " welcome " sight :) I was tickled to find your art presentation in front of the book store and your work now proudly hangs in our dining room. Saturday was yard sale day and I'd already broke the budget but your work dazzled me so I found another president for the worthy purchase. I carried my prize up the street face out to share with passerby. I wanted to share with you how many stopped me to comment on the beauty and depth of the work and ask where I acquired it so I hope they all marched your way to get something for themselves. I know I'll be looking for more! Another of our talented artist's once told me she call's our town the Gulf Portal. I thought that very fitting. You'll hear so many stories of people who came here for a temporary stay but once they passed through our Portal they couldn't leave! We can't imagine living anywhere else.
