It's no secret that I love yogurt.
Remember my obsession with fro-yo? Remember when I wrote about this this yogurt-based recipe?
But now, the obsession is with greek yogurt. What’s not to love? It's thick, creamy, full of protein, calcium and good bacteria – and it is low in sugar.
When you need a protein-packed breakfast but are tired of eggs, go for some Greek yogurt. Just a 6-ounce serving contains at least 15 grams of protein!
My current favorite breakfast variety is banana Greek yogurt, a good run granola ball, and some chia seeds. You’ll stay full and satisfied much longer than if you opted for that bowl of cereal.
Health Benefits
Greek Yogurt-high in protein, full of good bacteria (5 types of probiotics), excellent source of calcium, and low in carbs and sugar.
Raw honey- has Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Viral, and Anti-Fungal properties, and aids in digestion
So during one of my many searches for other ways to use Greek yogurt, I stumbled on an idea for Greek yogurt popsicles. Perfect for summer, right? That’s what I thought!
I purchased this handy and amazingly cute popsicle kit from Crate and Barrel, and then I whipped up an easy recipe for popsicles, froze, and boyyyyy did I enjoy them!
Try making these super simple Greek Yogurt Popsicles, and feel free to add in any fruit of your choice. I’m thinking now that some added granola might even be yummy! You can find popsicle molds at Target or Bed Bath and Beyond.
