Help the Gulfport Senior Center Food Pantry, Art Walk, So Classic Car Show,
Food Pantry Needs Donations: On Thursday, a sixth grade class from St. John's Catholic Church donated several boxes of pet food to the Gulfport Senior Center Food Pantry. During the visit, we learned that the food pantry is very empty right now. Officials say they greatly need donations to help low-income seniors in Gulfport. They need canned goods, canned meat, tuna, cereals and more. For more information contact the Gulfport Senior Center at 727-893-237 or 727-893-1231, or send an e-mail to: mpscfoundation@tampabay.rr.com.
Friday Art Walk: Come one, come all to the First Friday Art Walk tonight from 6 - 10 p.m. on Beach Blvd in Gulfport. Stop by the Industrial Arts Center for a glass blowing demonstration. Swing by T and Me for tea, wine or beer and of course, dine at one of Gulfport's locally owned and unique restaurants in the Waterfront District. Also, Owen Pach and Jonathan Schork's studios may be open. They're located in the "Artist Alley" on 29th Ave S.
So Classic Car Show: Show off your classic car or motorcycle in the So49 So Classic Car Show on Saturday, Feb. 4 on the Tangerine Greenway. The show fee is $30 per vehicle. For more information about participating or about becoming a vendor or sponsor of the event call Phil at (727) 327-3509 or email JSRTraining@aol.com. The event is free and will benefit the Sun Coast Law Enforcement Charities, Gulfport Teen Council and the Gulfport Police Explorers.
Exhibit Opening: Artist Rose Marie Prins incorporates soil and dried plants from Civil War areas in the paintings and drawings in the "War and Peace and the Height in Between" exhibition, which runs through March 12 at the Catherine Hickman Theater, 5501 27th Ave S.

When getting health insurance I usually go through "Penny Medical" website. The reason for this approach is because I get more personalized service and assistance. Once I went though ehealthinsurance and it offered no customer support.

If you're swinging by the Art Walk tonight, stop by and check out the New Horizon's Band! They'll be performing on Beach Blvd.

You can always drop off donations for the Senior Center Pantry during the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market each week. A collection basket is located next to the tent for the Gulfport Merchants Association on the corner of Beach Blvd. and 30th Ave. S. Non-perishable food, kitchen supplies, toiletries and pet needs are collected and given to the Pantry for local families in need.
