Boca Ciega High School Proudly Presents Thornton Wilder’s "Our Town"
The Boca Ciega Pirate Players will present Thornton Wilder’s classic play Our Town November 17-19 at 7:00pm in the BCHS main auditorium. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door.
First produced in 1938, the Pulitzer-Prize winning play has become an American stage treasure and is Wilder's most renowned and frequently performed play. Set at the turn of the 20th century, the play reveals the ordinary lives of the people in the small town of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire.
The show features many of Bogie’s finest student actors, including Rachael Goetsch as Emily Webb and Jordan Merritt as George Gibbs. Mr. Scott Durspek will be making a special appearance as the Stage Manager. Other performers include Emily Matthews (Mrs. Gibbs), Daniel Knoll (Mr. Gibbs), Carson Evans (Mr. Webb), Stephanie Freshman (Mrs. Webb), Anthony Vieira (Simon Stimson), Nicholas Massanet (Howie Newsome) and Danielle Anderson (Mrs. Soames).
