Good day please allow me to introduce myself my name is Mac McQuown.

I am a 51-year-old United States Army Reservist and United States Marine veteran. I proudly served from 1980-1988.

On September 11th of 2011, I departed from Stafford, Virginia and I am walking to the capitol steps of the all 50 states. A distance of well over 15,000  miles. This entire walk will take me a minimum of six years.

Thus far I have walked to six capitals through nine states totaling 1,371 Miles. The goal of my epic walk is to raise awareness and raise funds for all  wounded/homeless veterans. Also to bring awareness to those that have paid the greatest price. All veterans male & female, young & old from both past & current conflicts. I am contacting you because my hope is that you would be willing to carry the story of my epic venture.

My strongest ally is getting the word out. Through word of mouth and all media coverage I can get.

My walk will restart from Ocala, FL, on Jan. 7, 2012.
